DLDD was pleased to join Legend on the Bench Charity in unveiling their new bench in Grove House Gardens. The charity’s mission is to support those struggling with mental health issues and to help prevent the loss of life through suicide. The event was a heartfelt gathering, with the charity’s Ambassadors Micky Hazard and Ossie Ardiles, Dunstable Town Mayor Cllr Louise O’Riordan, Dunstable Town Council, Chums Charity, and many others in attendance. The bench is more than just a place to sit; it’s a symbol of hope. It features a plaque with a QR code that directs those in need to the charity’s help page, along with contact details for 24-hour support services. At night, the bench is illuminated, shining a welcoming light for anyone in crisis.
