A trustee of the DLDD Trust (Don’t Let Dunstable Die), a registered charity based in Dunstable, is preparing to take on an incredible personal challenge — running his 10th London Marathon.
Last year, Peter was forced to withdraw from the marathon following a diagnosis of bowel cancer. What should have been a milestone moment instead became a time to focus on treatment, recovery, and rebuilding strength.
Now, in a powerful and inspiring comeback, Peter is back and determined to complete what he started.
Peter is an experienced marathon runner, having already completed some of the world’s most iconic races, including the New York City, Chicago, Berlin, Paris and Edinburgh Marathon. However, this year’s London Marathon will be his most meaningful yet.
As part of his journey, Peter is running in support of Macmillan Cancer Support, raising vital funds and awareness to help others affected by cancer.
